For nearly four years I worked as an Illustrator at Wiley Publishing. I worked my way up from the Associate level, to Intermediate, and finally to a Senior level tech in that short amount of time. I learned an immense amount at Wiley concerning line art illustration, a previously self taught skill of mine. Most of my time was spent working Adobe Illustrator, although in that position I also got to work in Photoshop, Flash, and Dreamweaver. Through the years, I created original line art for numerous For Dummies books, Frommers Travel Guides, CliffsNotes, as well as many one off titles. Below is a sampling of artwork from that time (and published in books) and a few various vectors from my current position (published online).
As my career shifted to more web site work, I used my acquired knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and graphic design talents to enrich websites I've worked on. Everything from creating slides, to custom graphics, to feature boxes and ads. More on those kinds of things on the Odds & Ends page.
